Wig OEM/ODM Process: From Sample Approval to Bulk Production
OEM at a real factory is not a black box you throw money into. It is a sequence of confirmations, each one narrowing the gap between the product in your head and the carton on the truck. Here is the exact sequence we run with wig brands, salon chains and distributors — the same whether you are building a private label glueless wig line or restocking raw bundles for a wholesale channel.
The Four Steps
1. Inquiry & Spec Sheet
Send your target product, reference photos, a physical sample or a full spec sheet. We reply within 24 hours with a factory-direct quotation and any engineering questions.
2. Sampling
We produce a physical sample — hair, lace, cap, density, texture and packaging — for your approval. Nothing goes to bulk until you sign off on the sample.
3. Bulk Production
Your approved spec goes to the lines. In-line QC runs at ventilation, cap construction and finishing, with progress milestones on larger programs.
4. QC & Shipping
Final inspection against your approved sample, private label packing, then dispatch on your terms — FOB, CIF or DDP, by air or sea.
OEM vs ODM: Which One Fits You
OEM means you bring the product definition and we build it: your density map, your lace, your cap construction, your packaging. This is the right path if you already sell wigs and want a better factory price, or if you have a precise product vision.
ODM means you start from our proven constructions and customize the variables that matter to your market — length range, texture set, density options, branding. This is faster to market and lower risk for newer brands, because the base product is already validated on our lines and in other buyers' markets. Most of our US wholesale partners start ODM and drift toward full OEM as their best-sellers emerge. Both paths run through the same four steps above; the only difference is who writes the first draft of the spec.
Matching a Product You Already Sell
Many buyers come to us mid-frustration: their current supplier raised prices, quality drifted, or a trading company's markup finally became obvious. Send us a physical unit of the wig you are selling and our technicians reverse-engineer it — cap pattern, lace type, knotting density, hair grade, texture process — then sample it back to you at a factory-direct price. If the wig was originally made by a Chinese factory, the odds are good we can match or improve it, because the construction vocabulary is the same one our lines speak every day.
Private Label & Packaging
Your brand goes on everything the end customer touches: woven labels, hang tags, boxes, silk bags, care cards and inserts, all produced to your artwork. Packaging is applied at our packing stations, so cartons arrive shelf-ready for your warehouse, your salon shelves or your FBA prep service. For distributors, we also run neutral packaging with your carton marks only. Packaging specs are confirmed alongside the product spec in your quotation — nothing is "added later at cost."
Lead Time Honesty
You will notice this page does not promise a fixed number of days from sample to bulk. That is deliberate. Lead time depends on your product's hand-work content, your order volume and the production calendar when you confirm. What we promise instead is a dated schedule in writing with every quotation — the production floor's real dates — and milestone updates while your order runs. Sample lead times for stock styles are short; custom sampling and bulk schedules are confirmed per project.
