Inside Our Wig Factory: 2,000 Workers, Full In-House Production
Most "factory tours" in this industry are a showroom with good lighting. This page is the opposite: a plain-language walk through how a human hair wig is actually built at Wigiva, station by station, so you can judge our capability before you ever book a call. We have manufactured wigs, bundles and extensions for over 30 years, and today more than 2,000 workers run every production step inside our own facility — ventilation, knotting, wefting, cap construction, quality control and packing. Nothing is outsourced, and nothing is relabeled from somebody else's line.
Every Step Under One Roof
When a trading company tells you "our partner factory can do that," what they mean is: we will email someone you will never meet and hope they say yes. When you ask us to change a density, a lace type or a curl pattern, the person answering you can walk thirty meters and put the request on the production line the same day. That is the practical difference between a manufacturer and a reseller, and it is why wholesale buyers who switch to a real factory rarely go back.
In-house production also means accountability. If a batch has a problem, we trace it to the exact line and shift that made it — we do not forward your complaint to a third party and wait. Our five-step quality control process is built around this principle: the people who made the wig are the people who answer for it.
Ventilation & Knotting: Where the Hairline Is Born
Ventilation — hand-knotting individual hair strands into lace — is the most labor-intensive step in wig making and the one that decides whether a hairline looks real. Our ventilation room handles single knots, double knots, bleached knots and pre-plucked hairlines for HD lace, Swiss lace and transparent lace units. Knot size and direction are set per your spec sheet: a 13x4 lace front for a salon brand and a full lace unit for a premium label are ventilated to different density maps, and our technicians work from your reference photos or physical samples.
Because ventilation is in-house, customization is not an upcharge conversation — it is a production instruction. Baby hair layout, widow's peak, density graduation from hairline to crown: send the spec, we knot it. This is the same room that produces our wholesale HD lace wigs and lace front wig lines.
Wefting & Cap Construction
Machine wefting turns sorted hair into the bundles and the wig body. Our wefting lines run single-weft and double-weft construction, with reinforced stitching to control shedding — the number-one complaint wholesale buyers have with cheap suppliers. Caps are assembled to your market's expectations: adjustable straps, combs, elastic bands for glueless wear-and-go units, and breathable cap nets for long-wear comfort.
Cap construction is where many factories quietly cut cost. We would rather show you: on a live video call, ask our team to flip a cap inside out and zoom in. Stitching density, band elasticity and comb placement tell you more about a factory's discipline than any certificate on a wall.
QC, Packing & Dispatch
Finished units move to final inspection — shedding test, tangle test, density check, lace inspection under light — and then to packing. Private label packaging (your boxes, hang tags, silk bags and inserts) is applied here, so cartons leave the factory shelf-ready for your warehouse or your FBA prep.
